“Train the Trainer” Workshop for New Trainers
IPMA-HR Developing Competencies for HR Success Program
IPMA-HR Western Region and SCPMA-HR are seeking leaders in public sector human resources to serve as trainers for Developing Competencies for HR Success program.
IPMA-HR’s Train the Trainer workshop is a practical, how-to overview of the entire Developing Competencies for HR Success curriculum. It is a refresher course for those who completed the four-day Developing Competencies for HR Success program and are motivated to train other HR professionals. The 1 1/2 day Trainer workshop covers the purpose, lecture segments, practical exercises, interactive features, media and techniques for delivering powerful training. At the successful completion of the program, you will be qualified to conduct the Developing Competencies for HR Success program for any IPMA chapters, including the SCPMA-HR or for your public sector organization.
When: Wednesday, August 1, 2012 - 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
and
Thursday, August 2, 2012 - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Department of Public Works, Conference Center Room D
900 S. Fremont Ave.,
Alhambra, CA 91803
Cost: $50, payable to SCPMA-HR
Includes training materials; snacks on half day and continental breakfast
and lunch on full day.
Any additional cost for travel to Alhambra is the responsibility of the attendees or their sponsoring organizations.
Application: Those interested in becoming a Trainer for the Developing Competencies for HR Success must submit a completed IPMA-HR Instructor Application and an IPMA-HR Trainer Agreement (see attached), along with your check payable to SCPMA-HR, before June 30, 2012 to:
